Boys and girls can display very different ADD/ADHD symptoms, which may be why boys are three times more likely to get an ADHD diagnosis than girls. Boys’ symptoms with ADHD are more obvious and external. In contrast, ADHD symptoms in girls are less obvious, with less acting out and more withdrawal from social situations and anxiety.
